Raising Confident Kids Between Two Cultures A warm afternoon workshop for parents — with professional childcare included, so you can relax and take part.
Raising a child across cultures brings real joys and real challenges. Children often adapt to a new country faster than their parents, and they can end up living between two worlds — home and here. In this workshop, John Edward McGraw shares practical ways to help your child feel at home in both, and Momoka Koizumi of KOKORO Smile Nannies shares real, everyday support for newcomer families. Then we make time for parents to connect and share with one another.
What you'll get:
- A practical session on helping your child (and you) feel at home in Canada — in English, with Japanese support

- Time to connect and share with other parents from many backgrounds

二つの文化のあいだで、のびのび育つ子どもたちのために 保護者のための、あたたかい午後のワークショップ。プロによる託児付きなので、安心してご参加いただけます。
異なる文化の中で子どもを育てることには、大きな喜びと同時に、たくさんの難しさもあります。子どもは親よりも早く新しい国になじむことが多く、「家」と「カナダ」という二つの世界のあいだで揺れることもあります。このワークショップでは、John Edward McGraw が、お子さんが両方の世界で安心して過ごせるようになるための実践的なヒントをお伝えします。そして KOKORO Smile Nannies の Momoka Koizumi が、カナダで暮らす新しい家族への具体的なサポートについてお話しします。最後に、保護者どうしが交流し、経験を分かち合う時間もご用意しています。
