🌈 Rainbow Rhythms Open Mic at The Walrus 🎤Welcome back to Rainbow Rhythms Open Mic!
Join us downstairs in the Tusk Club at The Walrus for a friendly, welcoming evening of live music, poetry, comedy and creativity, hosted by Georgia Rainbow.
Whether you're an experienced performer or thinking about getting on stage for the very first time, Rainbow Rhythms is a safe, supportive space to share your talent and enjoy some of the very best performers Brighton has to offer.
Don't just take our word for it...
⭐ "The best open mic in Brighton."
⭐ "Rainbow Rhythms Open Mic is the BEST! Get down to the next one, you won't regret it!"
⭐ "So many talented people, an eclectic mix of poetry and music – if you haven't been, you are missing out!"
🌈 Rainbow Rhythms is also the home of Rainbow and the Rhythms, who were formed right here at this very open mic and still perform every month. If you've ever wanted to see where the band began, this is the place!
🎤 We welcome:
• Musicians
• Singers
• Poets
• Comedians
• Storytellers
• Spoken word artists
• Performers of all kinds
Bands are very welcome too! We have limited equipment, so please message Georgia in advance if you're bringing a full band so we can make sure we can accommodate you. We have a basic drum kit and an acoustic guitar available to use.
🎵 Performance slots are up to 10 minutes long (unless agreed beforehand).
If you'd like to perform, please message Georgia Rainbow or comment on the event to book a slot. We can usually fit in a few extra performers on the night too, depending on availability.
✨ Free entry for performers and audience members alike.
Bring your friends, grab a drink and enjoy an evening celebrating Brighton's wonderfully diverse creative community. Whether you're taking to the stage or simply coming along to support local talent, everyone is welcome.
We have been incredibly lucky to witness so many amazing performances over the years, and every month brings something new. We can't wait to see what you've got for us this time!
See you in the Tusk Club! 🌈🎶
