HOW TO BOOK:1. Select the 'Find Tickets' to get to the Event page, and click 'Apply' to be a member of the Rainbow Pooch Pride - Cardiff, Vale & Valleys (LGBTQIA+) activity.
2. Complete and submit the application form. Once approved, you will be able to book tickets for our events.
3. Simply select your Event, choose your tickets, check out, input the details for each ticket and you’re all set!
*Please note that every attendee bringing a dog is required to create a Dandelion account to book a ticket for their dog. This helps us confirm acceptance of the required terms and conditions to attend this event.

Join us for Rainbow Pooch in the Park, a social dog walk dedicated to honouring the unique role that our Rainbow Pooches play in supporting LGBTQIA+ lives. Held in beautiful country parks, this event celebrates our dogs as quiet heroes who provide powerful mental and physical support to our community. Whether you’re a dog parent or a dog-loving ally, come and connect with others who share a love of canine companionship and an appreciation for the positive impact it brings to our lives. After the walk, we'll warm up indoors with a complimentary hot drink and doggie treats, giving you and your Rainbow Pooch a chance to relax and unwind together.

Event Details
11am - 1pm: Social Dog Walk
To keep the experience comfortable and inclusive, we welcome up to six dogs per walk, with one ticket required per dog. Our route includes a gentle, on-lead start, and well-adjusted dogs may go off-lead in safe areas at the discretion of the Event Coordinator. Be sure to wear appropriate footwear, as we’ll be exploring trails that venture off designated paths.
1pm - 2pm: Unwind
Join us indoors in a private function room for a complimentary hot drink and cakes. You can also bring your own lunch. We have stim toys, books, settle mats and dog chews to help you and your Rainbow Pooches relax and unwind.
Booking
Dogs attend for FREE but we invite a minimum donation of £1 per person with the promise a lot of doggie treats in return!
We've also established a Discretionary Fund enabling individuals facing financial barriers to attend for FREE. Please select 'Discretionary' at point of sale.
Whether it's a humble pound or a generous sum, your support is invaluable to us. Your contribution covers essential costs and supports the continuation of our work in the community.
Directions: If using a sat nav or GPS please use the post code CF44 7PS. This will bring you to the entrance of the park. Please note: the postcode currently available on Google will take you elsewhere rather than the park.
Parking: Parking is in the car park nearest to the visitor centre and Caffi Cwtsh and is free of charge. What three words location is stone.forgotten.rating, and the postcode CF447PS.
Meeting point: The courtyard outside the visitor centre. Our Event Coordinator will be wearing Rainbow Pooch Pride branded clothing.
This event is only open to individuals aged 18 years plus who identify as LGBTQIA+. Rainbow Pooch Pride is a trans-inclusive organisation. We celebrate and support our trans and gender-diverse community. We have a zero-tolerance policy for discrimination or disrespect. This is a space where everyone deserves to feel safe and seen.
Allies are welcome to join as volunteers where training in LGBTQIA+ allyship will be provided. For more information email [email protected].

Er mwyn cadw'r profiad yn gyffyrddus a chynhwysol, rydym ni’n croesawu hyd at chwe chi fesul taith gerdded, ac mae angen un tocyn i bob ci. Mae ein llwybr yn cynnwys cychwyn ysgafn, ar dennyn, a gall cŵn sydd wedi'u hyfforddi fynd oddi ar y tennyn mewn ardaloedd diogel yn ôl disgresiwn Cydlynydd y Digwyddiad.
