Celebrate Kids Music Day with a fun and creative hands-on workshop these school holidays!
Children will have the opportunity to design and create their very own rain stick, a unique musical instrument that mimics the soothing sound of falling rain. Participants will decorate their rain sticks using artwork inspired by renowned Indigenous artist Kerri-Ann Taggart's designs, creating a special keepsake to take home.
This engaging activity encourages creativity, cultural appreciation, and a love of music while celebrating Kids Music Day, held on the first Friday of October each year.
