About this Event

This interactive workshop explores the historic context of migrant and racialised communities in the UK and equips you with practical tools to create emotionally safe and inclusive youth spaces. Grounded in trauma-informed practice and cultural equity, this training is a valuable opportunity to reflect, grow, and strengthen your practice.

As a daughter of Cypriot, German, and Kurdish parents who fled conflict and persecution, she faced identity struggles growing up in the UK. Before founding Displaced, she led an employment support network and housing services for the Kurdish community and managed projects supporting unpaid Kurdish carers.
