About this Event

What is this programme?

Expressive Arts for Health is a free 10-week creative wellbeing programme for adults in Edmonton. Using gentle drawing, watercolour, and visual journaling, we'll create a supportive space to relax, express feelings, and build confidence together.

Who is this for?

This programme is designed for adults experiencing: Isolation or loneliness Anxiety or low mood A need for positive weekly routine Curiosity about trying something creative No art experience needed. All materials provided. Completely free.

What will we do?

Each Thursday morning session includes:

  • Short demonstrations of simple techniques
  • Time to explore materials and create
  • Visual journaling prompts (like "home," "memory," "belonging")
  • Space for reflection and conversation
  • Light refreshments (tea, coffee, biscuits)

This is a gentle, exploratory programme - not a technical art class.

There's no pressure to be "good" at art. The focus is on wellbeing, connection, and self-expression.
