Rachmaninoff Rediscovered: A World Premiere at Carnegie Hall

Be there as a rediscovered work by Rachmaninoff takes the stage at Carnegie Hall.
Join Jason Tramm and the MidAtlantic Philharmonic Orchestra for the world premiere of Teodor Doré’s new orchestration of Rachmaninoff’s Suite in D Minor. Rediscovered as a piano manuscript, this early work comes to life through the sound of a full orchestra in an evening celebrating the American launch of Renaissance-21.
The program pairs this musical rediscovery with Beethoven’s brilliant Piano Concerto No. 1, the soaring melodies of Rachmaninoff’s Vocalise, and vocal selections from Gounod’s Faust, Dvořák’s Rusalka, and Lehár’s Giuditta.
New music shares the spotlight with these favorites, including Teodor Doré’s The Titans of Renaissance and La Suite Romana, Yury Revich’s Ocean, and Ilya Golubovich’s Ad Vegam.
With guest conductor Olsi Qinami and an international lineup of soloists, this is an evening for anyone drawn to the drama, beauty, and excitement of live orchestral music.
Join us for a night of discovery at Carnegie Hall.
