A year ago, River Arrow & Alne Revival launched with a vision: to bring our community together to restore, protect and celebrate the rivers running through our lives.
Twelve months, plenty of muddy wellies and a growing community of river enthusiasts later, it's time to celebrate! But there's plenty more to do. What have we achieved? What have we learned about our rivers? And where do we go from here?
Join us for an afternoon of inspiring talks, lively discussion and birthday celebrations as we look back on our first year and explore what's possible for the Arrow and Alne.
WHAT'S HAPPENING?
3:00 pm | Welcome and explore
Refreshments, photographs, interactive displays and a chance to meet our volunteers.
3:45 pm | One year on: what's next for our rivers?
Hear about our restoration work, citizen science and community projects, explore the challenges facing our rivers and share your ideas for the year ahead.
4:45 pm | Birthday celebrations!
Cake, refreshments and plenty of time to catch up, meet new people and celebrate together!
Whether you joined us at our launch, have volunteered throughout the year or are discovering RAAR for the first time, we'd love you to come along.
Bring your friends, family, ideas and enthusiasm. Everyone is welcome!
Optional supporter tickets and donations are available for anyone who'd like to help us make our second year even bigger.
Come and celebrate what we've achieved together, and help shape what happens next! 💚
