The year’s biggest trivia event is almost here!(TL;DR Quizmas= huge, now two nights! Reservations are open now- book your table!)
We knew Quizmas was going to be big last year, considering how busy our usual Mondays are (and how busy Quizmas used to be at The Mo) but, we were still kind of shocked as we had 180 players- and Toboggan still wasn't big enough as we had more teams that wanted to play. It was a daunting task to host a group of that size, even with my two helpers! I felt like I wasn't able to spend enough time at each table....so this year, Quizmas will be spread across two nights; that's right, two nights of Quizmas fun!
Sunday, December 13 6pm, start time
Monday, December 14 at the usual 7pm start time.
Reservations will be required for these nights as we are going to limit each night to about 25 teams, or 100-120 players each evening. Reserve early if you have a preferred evening!!
We're about seven weeks away; while I've been talking it up at our normal Monday night quiz, I wanted to make sure our long-time Quizmas players or those that have followed along for years, heard the news- especially those of you who only make it out to play once a year! 🙂
Reservations are available now! Please go to the Toboggan website (to reserve your spot, or book while you are there on a Monday. Invite your friends – even if they have never played before! The quiz has typically run for two hours, but as this is a special night with a special format, please plan on being there for 2.5 hours for this special edition!
The quiz itself will be a great mix of movies, TV shows, Christmas history, events that happened around Christmas, other holiday trivia (e.g., Hanukkah), toys, songs, food...everything that makes the holiday season special.
We encourage people to dress up – ugly sweaters, actual costumes, red/green outfits, or anything festive! Points will be awarded to those teams that dress the part. We would also love it if you would bring out baked goods to share or swap!
It is our last quiz of 2026 so we try to make it a little more social than the usual (and a little less competitive!). We will also have a few more prizes available for the evening.
