A Course to Make a Big Quilted Bow!
Over the course of 2 classes will be making a large quilted bow that makes the perfect home decoration! We will meet at 5:30 on 10/19 and 10/26. Each session can last upto 3 hours but will be a worshop style and you can leave when you need to. You may have homework between weeks.
In order to take this class, you need to have some basic knowledge of using a sewing machine. We will be going over beginner quilting skills in this class.
Supplies you need to bring with you:
-(66) 4x4 inch squares (cut before class begins)
-2/3 yards of fabric for backing
-5.5 yards of binding or bias tape
-(2) 2.5x9 inch rectangles for the center
-Coordinating Thread
I will provide everything else you need for this project If you are interested in making this reversible, You can easily do that. Just make sure your backing fabric and binding look good together too.
*You can bring your own sewing machine to class or rent one for an additional fee. To rent, you will add that on when you are signing up for the class.
Feel free to also bring any sewing suppies you like to use like scissors, seam rippers, pins, etc... If you have a walking presser foot, it will be helpful but not nececassy.
