The labyrinth is an ancient symbol representing our journey through life and is found in many different cultures and faith traditions. Walking this sacred path allows us to slow down, to let go of everyday concerns and offers space for quiet reflection and prayer. Amidst the challenges and turmoil of our times, walking a labyrinth helps restore our sense of inner calm, bringing balance and perspective to our lives.
Come and learn more about this spiritual practice and why so many people are re-discovering it today. After lunch you'll have the opportunity to walk a labyrinth, to pray with a finger labyrinth and to discover for yourself the deep peace that is to be found in these ancient pathways.
Course Leader:
Nickie Fidgin is a qualified labyrinth facilitator and has been leading retreats and quiet days for many years. In 2015 she set up the Peaceful Path Project to introduce schools to the labyrinth as a tool for exploring spirituality and wellbeing. Nickie has offered labyrinth walks in a variety of settings including cathedrals, churches, village halls, parks and beaches.
