Part 1 — Getting Set Up
- Navigate the QBO dashboard, chart of accounts, and banking feed.
- Record income and expenses and understand the basics of entering transactions correctly
Part 2 — Categorization & Reconciliation Basics
- Categorize business transactions correctly, including understanding the difference between Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and Operating Expenses
- Learn the basics of bank reconciliation and how to identify common errors or discrepancies
- Generate a Profit & Loss statement and understand what it is telling you about your business
