QuickBooks Level 1 & 2, Sales Tax & Payroll Workshop
Take control of your business finances with this hands-on, interactive workshop designed specifically for Métis entrepreneurs. Participants will learn the core features of QuickBooks Online, including setting up company files, managing invoices and expenses, tracking sales, handling sales tax and payroll, and generating financial reports. This practical training focuses on real-world bookkeeping skills you can apply immediately in your business.

- This is a two-day workshop and participants must commit to attending both days.

- The course is valued at $1,600 and is free for Métis entrepreneurs.
- A laptop is required to participate in the hands-on exercises. If you do not have a laptop, please let us know and Dr. Sheena can provide one for the duration of the workshop.

Dr. Sheena Solomon is an accomplished instructor with a strong specialization in accounting and financial/administrative software. She holds a doctorate in Physics from the University of Bremen in Germany, where she also began her early career working in scientific research across Europe.
In 2009, Dr. Solomon moved to Canada to serve as a Visiting Scientist with Environment Canada and the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM), contributing to environmental research initiatives and collaborative academic projects.
Driven by a passion for teaching and a commitment to empowering young entrepreneurs, Dr. Solomon co‑founded Diamond Learning with her husband. Their vision was to provide high‑quality professional software training and consulting services across Western Canada.
Today, Diamond Learning has grown into a trusted training provider, offering instruction to a diverse range of clients—including Saskatchewan businesses, government organizations, and First Nation communities.
