A Question of Faith: An Invitation to Explore TogetherHave you ever found yourself wrestling with deep questions about life, meaning, and belief? Are there things about faith you have been dying to ask, but never felt you had the right forum?
You are warmly invited to A Question of Faith, a new series of study evenings designed explicitly as a safe, welcoming, and open space to explore the big questions. This is not a rigid lecture series. Instead, it is a supportive community where we can listen, discuss, and learn from one another without judgment. Whether you are a lifelong churchgoer, someone rediscovering faith, or a complete skeptic, your voice and your questions are welcome.
The sessions will be guided and facilitated by the Revd Robert (Rob) Parker-McGee, the Vicar of Spalding St Mary & St Nicolas.
About Fr Rob Parker-McGee
Fr Rob is known for his approachable, warm style and his focus on inclusivity and community. He brings a deep wealth of formal expertise to our discussions, holding a Master of Arts by Research from Durham University alongside a First-Class theology degree from the University of Leeds and the College of the Resurrection, Mirfield. He has been a Parish Priest for over 15 years and has served both urban and rural areas.
In addition to his academic credentials, Fr Rob is a qualified Spiritual Director and retreat conductor. He is uniquely equipped to walk alongside others on their spiritual journeys, helping people examine their doubts and discern their paths in an open, non-judgmental environment. Before his ordination in the Diocese of Worcester, he worked in a variety of secular sectors—including fitness, milling and risk management—giving him a well-rounded, grounded perspective on the everyday issues people face.
