Boosting Belonging with a Queer Picnic Potluck and Trivia on the Church PatioThe next Pride Place of Belonging social activity will be a Potluck Picnic with Queer Trivia for the LGBTQIA+ community, including allies and families, on Sunday, September 27, 2026, from 4:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m., on the church's patio. People are invited to bring any food that they want to eat and share, if able. A deck of cards with Queer Trivia will serve as ice breakers. This is a secular and free activity for anyone who identifies as LGBTQIA+ and their supportive friends and family. No religious connection or former attendance is needed.
Most of our future social activities will be occurring on 4th Sundays from 4:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m.
About Pride Place of Belonging
Pride Place of Belonging was formed at Niles Discovery Church to support the LGBTQIA+ community, recognizing that there was no other location designated for the Queer Community in Fremont. Since Niles Discovery Church has been an Open and Affirming Congregation for over 30 years, we decided we are capable of creating a safe, supportive, and fun place for queer people to gather a couple times a month.
