UTU is excited to launch our newest book club August 14, 2025!
The Queer Manga Book Club reads queer manga, or Japanese graphic novels, across genres. We may also read graphic novels of other Asian origins or Western manga that is heavily influenced by Japanese manga.
Join us every second Thursday of the month from 6 - 7:30 pm for a moderated discussion about the book of the month.
Due to the graphic or sexual nature of some of the books read by the group, it is an 18+ book club but is otherwise open to all. This event is free to attend, but RSVP and sliding scale ticket is encouraged to guage attendance and cover the cost of the space.
