About this Event
Queer Gong is a mindful, movement-based practice rooted in the ancient Chinese healing arts of Tai Chi and Qigong, thoughtfully tailored for the LGBTQ+ community.
Blending traditional meditative, healing arts with a sprinkle of glitter, grace, and queer joy.
Ember Girling Rogers (she/her/they) is a mindfulness and qigong teacher and is a proud trans woman. She provides artistic healing practices for the LGBTQ+ community under the banner of Aphroditus Arts.
Queer Gong offers a welcoming, radically inclusive sanctuary where people of all abilities, bodies, and backgrounds can breathe easy. Through gentle, flowing movements, breathwork, and deep alignment, this practice invites participants to drop out of daily friction, unwind, recharge and find a grounded sense of balance.
No prior experience is needed; just bring yourself as you are. Dress in comfortable, loose fitted clothing and bring a water bottle.
