What is Qigong ?
The practice of Qigong optimizes energy flow within the meridians utilized in acupuncture and Chinese medicine, heightening sensitivity to the omnipresent Life Force (Qi) and fostering a deeper connection with it. Physiologically, Qigong's slow and gentle movements stimulate tendons, ligaments, and muscles, fortify vital organs and connective tissue, and facilitate efficient circulation of bodily fluids. Studies have substantiated Qigong's therapeutic benefits in managing diverse health concerns, including hypertension, chronic illnesses, emotional instability, mental tension, and spiritual crises. Through its soothing, rhythmic motions, Qigong alleviates stress, cultivates resilience, amplifies vitality, and reinforces immune function, yielding enhancements in cardiovascular, respiratory, circulatory, lymphatic, and digestive system performance.
