About this Event

What does a corporate crisis look like from the newsroom? In this session in conversation with James Hurley, we’ll discuss managing a crisis in the press from the perspective of a journalist. What works in terms of providing context, putting up credible spokespeople and who really controls the narrative in these situations? When can you – and should you – go ‘on deep background’ – and how? We’ll talk through real, and hypothetical, situations from the newsroom.

Seats are £50 and are limited to 100 PRs. Please submit a question for the journalists on the booking form – attendees will have the chance to ask follow ups during the session. Book now if you want to join us.

Cancellations are permitted up to 48 hours before an event. You can transfer to a different session up to 48 hours before the event (subject to availability), and delegate substitutions are accepted at any time. Please contact our event team at [email protected] for cancellation, transfer and substitution requests. Please note the line up may be subject to change. In this circumstance we will try our hardest to book in a similar journalist. If this isn't suitable, you may request a refund
