Tale as old as time - we're addicted to our phones, we use them to soothe the social anxiety, it keeps us from connecting, and so we spend more time on our phone. Repeat!We're putting an end to the cycle, and bringing you together for an unplugged evening with like-minded humans ready to be more present in their own lives.
Here's the tea:
1. You'll arrive, buzz 101, and check your phone with our host (attached to your name, don't worry, not just chucking your phone in a random box) and don a name tag.
2. Our cozy studio is stocked with everything you could want let alone need- snacks, bevvies, games, crafts, and more. Don't worry, there's fidget toys in case you don't know what to do with your hands sans phone.
3. Your prompt of the evening is to come with something in mind that inspires you or has inspired you recently. Think: an article a friend sent you, that movie you just watched, or maybe a meal made of unexpected ingredients. It can be anything and everything, but this will serve as your icebreaker for the evening!
We'll see where the evening and conversations take us when we aren't soaking in one million pixels- the event will be 2-2.5 hours. See you there! **
