About this Event
Push hands is Tai Chi's two-person practice — a gentle, structured way of exploring balance, sensitivity, and response through touch. Instead of pushing to win, you learn to listen with your body: sensing another person's weight, yielding without collapsing, and staying rooted without resisting.
These same skills translate directly off the mat. Push hands teaches you to stay present under pressure, respond instead of react, and find softness without losing your ground — the same qualities that make relationships (romantic, family, or otherwise) feel steady and alive.
Each week we'll rotate partners, work through simple drills, and build comfort with contact and feedback in a relaxed, low-pressure setting. No martial arts background, flexibility, or prior Tai Chi experience needed — just an open mind and a willingness to practice with someone else.
Come as you are. Leave a little more grounded and connected.
