WHEN: Tuesday, Nov. 3 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30ish
WHERE: Marlow's at Oviedo on the Park
WHY: Because we're all sick of people slinging mud and we think everyone, including the candidates, are ready to give a little cheer for whoever wins the benefit of the doubt that they want to do right by our community.
HOW: By strictly enforcing a 3 second spoil sport pouting limit.
BACKSTORY: Megan and Antonio ran into each other at a ribbon cutting this week and were talking about how they both had friends on both sides of the aisle and that they both love Election Day and how cool it would be if we all got together on election night and "just decided" to support whoever won. So....they snapped the picture in this flyer and unofficially agreed to make it happen. 24 hours later and it's officially happening! ALL Candidates from 3 races have already been contacted and invited to attend, win or lose, and the plan is to keep inviting more. Come Tuesday at 8:30 p.m., we're hoping we can all sing Kumbaya....perhaps literally!
