This event is a bold statement of solidarity and a celebration of strength and survival.Why a purple dress? Purple is the color of domestic violence awareness. By running or walking in purple, you are visibly showing your support for survivors and becoming an advocate for change. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Chozn 2 Outreach, an organization that helps survivors get back on their feet by providing various levels of support to families, especially women, in transitional living situations for independent living.
