Popular Pumpkins in the Park returns to the Lake Pleasure Grounds (Weymouth St, Warminster, BA12 9NP) on Wednesday 28th October, 5pm to 6.30pm, featuring family fun and a spooky LED light-up dance show.Visitors are invited to bring their own pumpkins to Lake Pleasure Grounds (Weymouth Street, Warminster, BA12 9NP) for the chance to win a top prize.
Registration opens at 5pm, with residents and visitors encouraged to bring their already-carved pumpkins for judging.
After registration, battery-powered candles will be provided, and town council staff will arrange the illuminated pumpkins around the park.
Mayor of Warminster, Cllr Jack Jones, will judge the entries and present the prizes.
Cllr Jones said: “Pumpkins in the Park is a spectacular event that grows more popular each year. We are excited to see residents’ creativity once again. Simply carve your design at home and bring it to the park.
“We look forward to once again seeing the park filled with pumpkins and enjoying a spooky LED light-up dance show.”
The Pavilion Parlour will extend its opening hours to welcome visitors – selling tasty food and drink with Royal Sweet Mix also joining the fun event.
