The Addison Park District is participating in the 2026 SCARCE Pumpkin Smash! The Pumpkin Smash is an annual effort by communities to divert pumpkins from landfills by providing locations for residents to drop-off jack-o-lanterns to be composted. Join us on Sunday, November 8th between noon and 2 p.m. at Links & Tees Golf Facility to participate by smashing your pumpkin! If you can’t make it during that time, the composting receptacle provided by Republic Services, will be available to accept your pumpkins until the next day, Monday, November 9th.
