Fall vibes, cake, AND wine?! Yes please!! Join Kate from Wicked Sweets by Kate on Wednesday September 30th at After the Vine in Rockton to learn how to make this sweet pumpkin patch cake! Kate will teach you step by step how to stack, fill, crumb coat, and decorate a 2 layer 6” white cake with vanilla buttercream frosting.
The class will cover:
-Coloring the buttercream
-Setting up and filling piping bags
-Filling, and stacking the cake
-Crumb coating
-Techniques for the ombré textured cake frosting
-Techniques for piping the pumpkins and vines
-Techniques for the shell border
-Boxing the cake for transport home
All materials will be provided!
