About this Event
An afternoon and evening of activities presented by Mocama Beer Company and Keep Nassau Beautiful. Partners include: City of Fernandina Beach, Ghost and History Tours of Fernandina, Jennifer Cook – Professional Artist, STAND, UF|IFAS Extension Nassau County, Walmart Yulee.
Bring your pumpkin between 3pm – 6pm, for professional carving of a critter image of your choice with a small donation to support sea turtle education. Don't have a pumpkin, no worries, for a small donation we'll provide one. There will also be a raffle for 16 painted pumpkins. Get one of our painted or carved pumpkins and have a better chance of winning bragging rights in your community for the best decorated pumpkin!
Event Schedule:
3pm – Festivities begin with face painting, pumpkin carving, composting demonstrations, Mocama pumpkin-theme menu, beverages and trunk or treat, and raffle for painted pumpkins.
5-6pm – Ghost stories with Diane Blanton, Ghost and History Tours of Fernandina
6pm Youth Costume Contest with prizes
6:30 – 9:30pm – Live Music
7pm Adult Costume Contest
Proceeds and donations from the event support sea turtle education – The Last Castle where professional sand carvers will build an elaborate sand castle to announce the 2027 Sea Turtle Nesting Season. Reminding visitors and residents to keep the beach clean, flat, and dark.
On Sunday, Nov. 1, 2026, 10am - 3pm, bring us your clean pumpkin, whole or carved, NO paint or wax contaminants, to recycle with the Goats - help us feed the critters! Our partners: Goats on the Go and OtterSpace Wildlife
