An afternoon and evening of activities -
Partners include: Ghost and History Tours of Fernandina, Jennifer Cook - Professional Artist, Keep Nassau Beautiful, Mocama Beer Company, STAND, Tows and Tails Sanctuary, UF|IFAS Extension Nassau County
Bring your pumpkin, 3 - 6pm, for professional carving of a critter image of your choice with a small donation to support sea turtle education.
Proceeds and donations from the event support sea turtle education - The Last Castle where professional sand carvers will build an elaborate sand castle to announce the 2027 Sea Turtle Nesting Season. Reminding visitors and residents to keep the beach clean, flat, and dark.
Event Schedule:
- 3pm - Festivities begin with face painting, pumpkin carving, composting demonstrations, donation-based drawing for decorated pumpkins, Mocama food, beverage and trick or treat
- 5-6pm - Ghost stories with Diane Blanton, Ghost and History Tours of Fernandina
- 6pm Youth Costume Contest, judging with Kristen and Crystal (Tows and Tails Sanctuary)
- 6:30 - 9:30pm - Live Music
- 7pm Adult Costume Contest, judging with Kristen and Crystal (Tows and Tails Sanctuary)
