Crate digging from both the internet and the archive, DJ Swisha’s sound is a high-energy, intertextual exploration of club music history — a playful fusion that cuts across aggressive footwork, Jersey club, soundcloud rap, house, jungle and techno, pulling these strands into a cohesive, dancefloor‐ready sound.
DJ Swisha is best known for a hybrid body of work that blurs club tracks, DJ tools, and mixtape-style releases, anchored by his Nothing But Net EP on Fool’s Gold Records. His long awaited debut Album, First Hand Smoke (2025), balances intensity with atmospheric, intricate moments, offering a definitive, contemporary sound; ‘Whatever SWISHA touches—be it juke, house, club music—turns to gold.’ (Resident Advisor). Other high profile releases include collaborative EPs such as Outta Bounds (with Kush Jones) and What’s Stopping You From Doing This? (with Kanyon and DIYR), alongside his catalog of mixes on Bandcamp and SoundCloud.
