🌎Company E makes its Boston debut with PULSE: A Dance of the Earth — a one-hour adventure where contemporary dance, live music, science and storytelling come together in a performance created for the young and young at heart.
Presented by Sofar Sounds, PULSE takes audiences on an imaginative journey that begins with the birth of the universe, listens for the voices of whales, feels the vibrations of the Earth, takes flight above the clouds, and follows a heartbeat all the way home.
Guiding the adventure is singer, storyteller and educator Michele Fowlin, appearing as the Earth Spirit. With humor, wonder and music, she leads our young hero — and the audience — through a world that invites us to listen more closely to the planet and rediscover our connection to the natural world.
Created for young people and the adults who join them, PULSE introduces families to ambitious contemporary performance through a welcoming story filled with movement, music, imagination and discovery.
Whether your family loves dance, music, science, nature, storytelling — or simply a great adventure — PULSE offers a little something for everyone.
