About this Event
Too often, women in cyber and tech are the only woman in the room. This is a chance to change that.
Pull Up a Chair is a relaxed after-work social for women in cybersecurity and tech across Hampton Roads. There are no panels or sales pitches, just good company and real conversation with women who get it.
Whether you’re 20 years into security or just breaking into tech, there’s a seat for you.
What to expect
- Casual mingling over drinks and bites, which are available for purchase
- A quick welcome from your host
- An optional “asks and offers” moment, where you can share something you’re looking for and something you can offer
- A small group, capped at 15, so everyone gets to talk
Who should come
Women in or moving toward cybersecurity, IT, AI, data, software, GRC, and other tech roles. Students, career changers, practitioners, and leaders are all welcome.

Coming solo? Perfect. That’s who this is for.
Come straight from work or go home and change first, whatever works for you.
If you can’t make it, please release your ticket so another woman can take your seat.
