Pull Up a Chair, Longview! We Want to Hear From You!Have a question about Longview? An idea you'd love to share? Something that's been on your mind? Or maybe you just want to get to know your City Council members a little better?
Well, pull up a chair!
We're excited to introduce Pull Up a Chair: Office Hours with Longview City Council, a new opportunity to connect with your local elected leaders in a casual, welcoming setting.
Our first gathering:
Tuesday, October 27
4:30–6:00 p.m.
Mill City Grill
No podiums. No presentations. No formal agenda. Just good conversations about the community we all call home.
We believe connecting with your City Council shouldn't require a trip to City Hall. That's why we're taking these conversations out into the community! Each month, we'll visit different local businesses, neighborhoods, and gathering places throughout Longview. Our goal is simple: meet people where they are, make local government more accessible, and hear directly from you.
The Mayor, Mayor Pro Tem, and a rotating City Council member will be there to listen, answer questions, and hear your ideas and concerns.
No appointment needed. No prepared comments required. Just stop by, grab a seat, and join the conversation!
Because sometimes the best conversations happen around a table rather than behind a microphone.
Your voice matters, Longview. Let's talk!
