Think your team has what it takes to move 80,000 pounds of history?Join forces with B-29 Doc and the WSU Tech Foundation for Pull a Plane for Education, a one-of-a-kind challenge where teamwork meets impact. This exhilarating fundraiser puts teams head-to-head with a fully restored B 29 aircraft in a competition unlike anything else. Humans versus an 80,000-pound plane.
Teams of 25 will race against the clock to pull Doc down the ramp using nothing but strength, strategy, and teamwork. The top individual fundraiser will earn a once-in-a-lifetime flight experience aboard Doc.
Pull a Plane 2026 takes place on Saturday, March 7 at the B-29 Doc Hangar, Education and Visitors Center.
This event is family friendly and open to the public. Even if you are not pulling, everyone is welcome to attend, cheer on teams, and experience the excitement firsthand.
General admission is ten dollars per person or twenty five dollars per family of up to six. Admission includes access to the Pull a Plane competition, the Doc Hangar, hands on STEM activities, and cockpit tours of Doc.
