About this Event
📝 Event Description
What is God's Kingdom? Is it a real hope for the future? And what does it mean for us today?
The hope of God's Kingdom is at the heart of the Bible's message. Jesus taught his followers to pray for God's Kingdom to come, yet many people have different ideas about what that Kingdom is and what the Bible means when it speaks of its coming.
In this final lecture of our five-part series, we'll explore what the Bible reveals about God's Kingdom — what it is, why it is central to the gospel, and how it connects with the promises God made to Abraham and the work of Jesus Christ.
We'll consider the Bible's hope for the future, the role Jesus will have in God's Kingdom, and what this promised Kingdom means for the earth and for those who seek to follow God's purpose.
Bringing together the themes explored throughout the series, we'll complete our journey from the Bible and the God it reveals, through the gospel preached to Abraham and Jesus Christ the Son of God, to the hope that lies at the heart of God's purpose for humanity.
Whether you have followed the whole series, attended only one or two lectures, or are simply curious about the Bible's message of hope, you are warmly invited to join us.
Part 5 of 5 — Introducing You to the Hope of God's Kingdom
This is the fifth and final lecture in a free five-part series presented over five Sunday evenings, with a one-week break during the series. Each lecture follows naturally from the previous one, building towards a fuller understanding of the Bible's message. You are welcome to attend this lecture individually, but attending the full series will give you the complete journey.
