About this Event
📝 Event Description
Who is Jesus Christ? Why is he called the Son of God? And what is his place in God's purpose for humanity?
Jesus Christ is at the centre of the Bible's message, yet there are many different ideas about who he was, his relationship with God, and why his life, death and resurrection matter.
In this fourth lecture of our five-part series, we'll explore what the Bible reveals about Jesus Christ — his birth, his relationship with his Father, his life and mission, and the role he plays in God's purpose for the salvation of mankind.
We'll consider what it means for Jesus to be the Son of God, how his life connects with the promises made to Abraham, and why understanding who Jesus is is essential to understanding the Bible's message.
Building on the first three lectures, we'll continue our journey through the Bible's message — from God's Word and the God it reveals, to the gospel preached to Abraham, and now to the person at the heart of that message: Jesus Christ.
Whether you are familiar with Jesus, have questions about who he was, or are simply curious to learn more, you are warmly invited to join us.
Part 4 of 5 — Introducing You to Jesus Christ: The Son of God
This is the fourth lecture in a free five-part series presented over five Sunday evenings, with a one-week break during the series. Each lecture follows naturally from the previous one, building towards a fuller understanding of the Bible's message. You are welcome to attend individual lectures, but attending the full series will give you the complete journey.
