Have you ever picked up an old photograph, held a piece of jewellery, or touched something that belonged to a loved one and experienced an unexpected feeling?
Perhaps a memory surfaced, an image came to mind, or you felt a connection you couldn't quite explain.
Within psychic and spiritual traditions, these experiences are often explored through a practice known as psychometry.
Psychometry is the intuitive art of working with objects to explore impressions, feelings, images, and information that may arise through focused awareness.
The practice is based on the spiritual belief that objects can hold energetic impressions associated with the people, places, and experiences connected to them.
On Sunday, December 27, we invite you to join us at Oakhenge Houses of Healing for a fascinating afternoon dedicated to exploring psychometry and developing your intuitive senses.

Understanding Psychometry
The word psychometry is derived from Greek roots associated with the mind or soul and measurement.
In contemporary spiritual practice, psychometry refers to the process of holding or connecting with an object and observing the intuitive impressions that emerge.
These impressions might take many forms.
You may become aware of an image, a word, a sensation, an emotion, or simply a sense of knowing.
For some practitioners, impressions appear through mental pictures. Others notice physical sensations or emotional associations. Still others experience thoughts or insights that seem to arrive without conscious effort.
In this workshop, we'll explore these experiences through the framework of psychic development and the clairs, learning how to recognize different forms of intuitive awareness.

You'll have an opportunity to notice which forms of intuitive perception feel most natural to you.
Learning to Observe Without Overanalysing

We'll explore how to recognize subtle impressions, remain curious, and avoid becoming attached to a particular interpretation.
Working with Personal Objects
Learn how everyday belongings can become focal points for psychometry exercises.
Jewellery, watches, keepsakes, and other personal objects may carry powerful emotional significance and offer interesting opportunities for intuitive exploration.
Hands-On Psychometry Practice
This workshop is designed to be experiential.
You'll have the opportunity to work with objects, explore the impressions that arise, and practise communicating what you notice.
The emphasis is on curiosity, compassionate exploration, and personal development rather than performance or getting everything right.
Building Confidence in Your Intuition
Through guided exercises and reflection, you'll be encouraged to trust your observations while recognizing that intuitive interpretations are subjective and may not always be accurate.
Please Bring Two Small Objects
For this workshop, participants are asked to bring two small objects belonging to a loved one.
Examples include:
- A ring, bracelet, necklace, or other piece of jewellery
- A watch or small personal accessory
- A meaningful keepsake or treasured belonging
- A small object that has a personal history or connection
Choose items that are safe to handle and that you're comfortable sharing during the exercises.
Objects belonging to either living or deceased loved ones may be used.
You don't need to know every detail of an object's history. In fact, allowing room for discovery can make the experience particularly interesting.
An Invitation to Deepen Your Intuitive Awareness
Psychic development isn't always about extraordinary experiences.
Often, it's about learning to pay attention.
To notice what arises when we become still.
To recognize the subtle ways our minds, bodies, memories, and intuition respond to the world around us.
