Step aboard MV Calmer for a fascinating four-hour afternoon on Newcastle Harbour featuring two experienced psychic mediums, two live platform sessions, an interactive Question Barrel finale and a two-course alternate drop lunch.

For this special event, Lady D and Scott William Archer will each take to the floor for their own live platform mediumship session, bringing two different personalities, styles and approaches to the experience.

Then, for the final session, they come together — and the questions come from you.

Add a glass of sparkling wine or beer on arrival, lunch overlooking Newcastle Harbour and an intimate Main Deck setting, and you have an afternoon unlike our usual cruises.

Tickets are strictly limited to Main Deck seating only. Once this event sells out, no additional tickets will be released.

Lady D is an experienced psychic medium and astrologer who combines mediumship, psychic insight and astrology within her work.

With years of experience delivering private readings, psychic parties, workshops, group platform readings and larger events, Lady D is known for her warm, engaging and intuitive approach.

During her live platform session aboard MV Calmer, Lady D will work with the audience and share the connections, messages and insights that come through.

Scott William Archer is an experienced psychic and platform medium whose work incorporates clairvoyance, clairsentience, clairaudience and claircognizance, alongside mediumship.

Scott has spent many years within the Spiritualist community, including serving in leadership roles with Chatswood Spiritualist Church, and also brings decades of professional entertainment and stage experience to his work.

Combining mediumship, natural humour and an engaging stage presence, Scott creates a platform experience designed to connect with and involve the audience.

During his session aboard MV Calmer, Scott will share the messages, impressions and connections that come through.

This isn't one shared performance.

Throughout the afternoon, Lady D and Scott William Archer will each deliver their own individual live platform session.

Each brings a different personality and approach, giving guests the opportunity to experience two distinctly different mediumship sessions during the one cruise.

And then they'll join forces for the finale.

During the cruise, every guest will be invited to write one question and place it into our Question Barrel.

During the final session, Lady D and Scott will come together and randomly draw questions from the barrel, responding to those selected.

They won't know which question is coming next.

And yours could be one of them.

Please remember that selected questions may be read aloud and discussed in front of the audience, so guests should not include names, identifying information or anything they would not be comfortable having discussed publicly.

Questions are selected randomly and, due to the number of guests and time available, not every submitted question can be drawn or answered.

Mediumship can sometimes involve personal, emotional or unexpected messages and conversations.

We want guests to be able to experience the afternoon without worrying that a personal moment could be photographed, filmed, recorded or subsequently shared on social media.

There will be no event photography or promotional filming by All Event Cruises during the live event.

Guests must also respect the privacy of everyone onboard.

Photography, filming or audio recording of other guests, the mediums, platform readings, audience interactions or the Question Barrel session is not permitted.

You're welcome to have your phone with you and use it normally, but please do not photograph, film or record people or any of the live sessions during the event.

This applies whether you are receiving a message or somebody else is.

A platform reading can involve information that is deeply personal to the person receiving it. Please give your fellow guests the same privacy you would expect if you were the person being addressed.

Please respect the privacy of everyone onboard.

For safety and security purposes, MV Calmer remains monitored by fixed CCTV. CCTV is used for safety, security and operational purposes and is separate from event photography or promotional filming.

This is an alternate drop menu, meaning dishes are served alternately around the table. Individual selections between the listed alternate-drop meals are not available.

Limited allocation

Unlike many of our events aboard MV Calmer, all guests for this experience will be seated together on the Main Deck to create the right atmosphere for the platform readings and lunch service.

This significantly limits the number of tickets available.

Once Main Deck capacity is reached, the event is sold out. No additional ticket release will be added.

Please arrive with sufficient time to complete check-in. MV Calmer departs promptly and late arrivals cannot be boarded once the vessel has departed.

Platform mediumship is an audience experience and individual readings, connections, messages or Question Barrel responses cannot be guaranteed for every guest.

Lady D and Scott will work with members of the audience during their respective sessions, while questions for the finale will be selected randomly from the Question Barrel.

The event is designed to be enjoyed as a complete afternoon experience — including the cruise, lunch, live platform sessions and interactive finale — regardless of whether you are personally selected during a reading.

• Refund Policy: Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable except where the event is cancelled by the organiser or where otherwise required by law.
• Licensed Venue: Events operate under strict licensing and RSA regulations.
• Cash and card accepted.
• Additional drinks are available for purchase onboard.
• Strictly NO BYO food or beverages.
• Allergen Notice: Our onboard kitchen operates in a shared environment and cannot be considered allergen-free. While care is taken in preparation, we are unable to guarantee the complete absence of allergens, including gluten, due to the risk of cross-contamination. Guests with significant intolerances, severe allergies or specific dietary requirements should carefully consider whether the available options and onboard kitchen environment are suitable before booking. Dietary or allergen-related unsuitability does not constitute grounds for a refund.
• Heels Policy: MV Calmer has steep stairs, so tall or pointy heels are not permitted. Small chunky heels are fine.
• Privacy & No Photography: This is a strictly no-photography, no-video and no-audio-recording event. Guests must not photograph, film or record other guests, Lady D, Scott William Archer, platform readings, audience interactions or the Question Barrel session. No promotional photography or filming will be undertaken by All Event Cruises during the live event. Guests who disregard this policy may be asked to stop recording or, if necessary, leave the event.
• CCTV & Security Notice: For the safety and security of guests, crew and staff, MV Calmer is monitored by CCTV surveillance. CCTV is used for safety, security and operational purposes and does not form part of event photography or promotional content.
• Accessibility: MV Calmer is not a fully accessible venue due to wharf, gangway and vessel design. The vessel cannot accommodate wheelchairs. It is the responsibility of ticket purchasers and attendees to assess whether the vessel and event are suitable for their individual accessibility, mobility or personal needs before purchasing tickets. Guests should contact us before booking to discuss suitability.
• Bag Policy: For safety and security reasons, bags larger than a purse or clutch size are not permitted onboard. All bags will be searched prior to boarding. Guests who arrive with larger bags such as backpacks or totes may be refused admission without refund.
• Do not leave bags or other personal items unattended onboard. All Event Cruises Pty Ltd accepts no liability for lost, damaged or stolen personal items.
• No mid-cruise drop-offs or pickups.
• Total cruise duration may be inclusive of embarkation/disembarkation. All indicated times may be adjusted at the discretion of AEC management and/or the vessel Captain.
• Rain doesn't stop the boat from cruising. MV Calmer has substantial indoor areas across the Main and Mid Decks.
• Event Conditions: All Event Cruises reserves the right to refuse entry or remove guests who do not comply with venue policies, privacy requirements, safety requirements or responsible service of alcohol regulations.
• Departure Policy: MV Calmer always aims to depart at the scheduled time. Late arrivals will not be refunded.

By purchasing a ticket, guests acknowledge and agree to the event conditions, including the event's strict privacy and no-recording requirements.

• Shared dining table experience: We do a seating plan! If you want to sit together, create a Group Name (e.g., “Smith Family Table”) and have everyone fill in the 'Group Name' field on the order form. Bookings done within 24hrs of start time may not be able to sit with requested other guests that have already been allocated a table.
• Group Bookings and Purchaser Responsibility: Where one person purchases tickets on behalf of multiple attendees or a group, the purchaser is responsible for ensuring that every person attending under that booking is provided with, and is fully aware of, all relevant event information, entry requirements, policies, terms and conditions before the event date.
• All event information, terms and conditions are made available on the ticketing page at the time of purchase. A guest’s failure to read, receive or understand this information does not provide grounds for a refund, credit, transfer or other compensation.
• Drinks - those not included in a stated beverage package or the ticket inclusions are available for purchase
• Food - the included menu is a set menu, that cannot accommodate special or individual dietary requirements. The menu items may be subject to change without notice due to seasonal and supply availabilities.

• Professional photography and video may be captured - By purchasing a ticket and boarding the vessel, you acknowledge that photography and videography may occur during the event. You consent to All Event Cruises Pty Ltd using any images or footage of you for marketing, promotional, and operational purposes, without compensation.
• Event Conditions: All Event Cruises reserves the right to refuse entry or remove guests who do not comply with venue policies, safety requirements, or responsible service of alcohol regulations, and all applicable legislation.
• Departure Policy: Vessel always aims to depart at the scheduled time. Late arrivals will not be refunded.
• All Sales Final: Tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by the organiser.
