MORE ABOUT OUR FEATURE:
As a coach, youth mentor, DJ, and washed-up athlete, Seth Larbi, affectionately known as Coach Seth, uses his storytelling poetry to pay homage to his Ghanaian-American background and lessons learned from the neighborhood—exploring the confines of masculinity, hip-hop, and Blackness. A former Youth Grand Slam Champion, he proudly calls the Providence Poetry Slam home, having represented ProvSlam at Brave New Voices, the National Poetry Slam, and as a member of the 2023 Northbeast Regional Slam Champions.
