About this Event
The PRovocation Symposium is a student-led industry event connecting graduating Professional Communication students with the PR industry. Established in 2025, the symposium tackles a topic that matters most to students as they prepare to enter the workforce.
This year's theme, "Spin Doctors: Defining Moments in PR," takes on the loaded term often used to dismiss the work of PR professionals and turns it into a genuine conversation about what the job actually demands. As new technologies raise fresh ethical questions for the industry, this symposium creates space for honest dialogue about working in PR with integrity, navigating pressure, and building a career with purpose.
Unlike a traditional panel of speeches, this year's format is designed for real dialogue between industry experts, alumni, and students. Attendees can expect an engaging discussion, followed by networking with industry guests and fellow students.
