About this Event
Protection is one of the foundations of magical practice. Across cultures and throughout history, people have developed rituals, charms and protective objects to create boundaries, ward off unwanted influences and help keep themselves, their homes and their communities safe.
In this workshop, we'll explore the history and practice of protection magic across different cultures, including different approaches to warding, creating protective boundaries and working with protective charms.
You'll then have the opportunity to create your own Witches' Bells protective charm to take home with you!
Witches' Bells are a traditional form of protective charm, often hung by doors or windows to help guard the home. You'll create your own charm while learning about the symbolism and intentions behind the objects and materials used.
With Halloween approaching, this is a particularly fitting time to explore protection magic! Traditionally, this time of year has been associated with transitions, the thinning of boundaries and increased spiritual activity, making it a powerful point in the seasonal cycle to focus on protection and creating strong boundaries.
Whether you're completely new to magical practice or already have your own established practice, this workshop offers an opportunity to learn, create and connect with others interested in magic.
