In partnership with Literary Cleveland Beloved: Ohio Celebrates Toni Morrison, Steeped Pearl presents Protecting Pecola
Protecting Pecola will be an gathering to spread the lessons of Toni Morrison's The Bluest Eye to continue the conversation of safety and protection within our communities. This community discussion will be hosted in the Toni Morrison's hometown Lorain, OH at the Chateau De Charleston.
Together we will enjoy an reading from Toni Morrison's The Bluest Eye, respond to an optional writing prompt, share an engaging community discussion and share out, enjoy complimentary tea, and light refreshments.
We are excited to share and serve our loose leaf herbal tea blend, Pecola, a community favorite from our 2023 Tea Shelf Collection and Protection from our 2025 Ritual Collection!
