About this Event
Women in real estate are building businesses, income, assets, and wealth. But building it is only part of the equation. You also need a plan for protecting it.
In recognition of Life Insurance Awareness Month, Women in Real Estate™ LA is hosting Protect What You're Building, a practical conversation about the role insurance can play in protecting your income, your family, your business, and the financial life you're creating.
Led by Ariel Bowie, Co-Chapter Leader of Women in Real Estate™ LA and Financial Advisor at Sagient, this session will go beyond simply asking whether you “have life insurance” and help you think more strategically about what you're protecting, where gaps may exist, and how your needs can change as your career and assets grow.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
We'll explore:
- Protecting your income when your livelihood depends on your ability to work
- Life insurance as your life changes, including growing income, family responsibilities, debt, and assets
- Protection considerations for business owners and self-employed professionals
- Common coverage gaps that can leave parts of your financial life exposed
- How insurance fits into your broader wealth strategy, rather than treating it as a separate financial decision
No complicated insurance jargon and no pressure to buy a policy.
Just a practical conversation designed to help you understand what deserves a closer look, what questions you should be asking, and how to make more informed protection decisions as your financial life becomes more complex.
Because building wealth matters. Protecting your ability to keep building it matters too.
Whether you're a real estate professional, business owner, investor, or simply at a stage where there's more at stake financially than there used to be, bring your questions and join us for the conversation.
