Promoting Educational Engagement: BEARS Initial Training course for school staff and Practitioners.This training is being offered in person and will take place on:

Please be advised there is free parking on site located at the back of the building.
This training is being offered in person for one full day (9.00 am to 3.30 pm). This is a free event for practitioners from schools and other services who work with children or their families who have difficulty attending school. The training will provide an overview of the updated BEARS guidance and BEARS cards and will provide attendees with further knowledge, skills and practical tools. It is advised that attendees are practitioners who work directly with young people and are able to effect wider change within schools. You are advised to book early to avoid disappointment. Bookings will close three days prior to the training event and it will be possible to sign up to a waiting list if the course is full. Places are limited to two places per school.
Please be advised attendees will need to bring their own lunch, there is a cafe on site which you will be able to purchase food and drink from.
