Helping local women and children find safety, support and a fresh start. 💜
Hiatus House supports women and their children in Windsor-Essex who are experiencing violence and abuse. Their services include emergency shelter, crisis support, safety planning, and help connecting with housing, counselling and community resources. Support is also available to women living in the community—you do not have to stay at the shelter to reach out.
Our event is in support of Hiatus House’s Transitional Housing Project, which aims to provide safe, affordable housing and ongoing support for women and their children as they move toward permanent housing and greater independence.
