About this Event
PROJECT ROSE: Learning Collaborative, Part II!
Join us in person for Project Rose’s second Learning Collaborative meeting, where you can hear project updates and share your thoughts on activities and priorities.
THE PROJECT
Project Rose is a community-driven partnership between the Chilliwack Social Research & Planning Council (CSRPC) and UBC’s Centre for Advancing Health Outcomes. We are dedicated to addressing the complex challenge of chronic school absenteeism alongside families impacted by substance use.
THE LEARNING COLLABORATIVE
The Learning Collaborative is a space for interested representatives from diverse Chilliwack stakeholder groups to engage with this work.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
At this second gathering, we will relay progress updates since the inaugural Learning Collab meeting. You will also hear reflections from community consultation sessions we are holding around a proposed model of caregiver support. We are very much looking forward to your contributions during a guided discussion about this model as well as focal areas for an expanded grant proposal.
ROSE
Our project is named in honor of "Rose," a grandmother and caregiver navigating the impossible odds that systemic inequities and family substance use can create. We continue to centre this story and the families who are key partners in this exploration.
