About this Event
Join performance artist and Director for an inclusive and relaxed workshop that will help you to understand best practice when working with artists.
As a creative producer, you'll often have to work with artists. This is not just about organising them, it's all about building and maintaining relationships so that you can turn creative visions into reality.
What will I learn?
We'll cover a variety of topics, namely:
- What makes a good working relationship?
- Navigating creative differences effectively
- How you can make sure that artists feel supported and valued: Fair pay, looking after artists' access needs.
- Supporting good mental health in the sector
Whether you're a new producer or a seasoned pro, building trust, communicating well, and collaborating effectively are key to producing the best work.
