Fresh produce shouldn't be a luxury. And yet nearly 15% of Mecklenburg County residents live in food deserts — while North Carolina ranks 8th in the nation in agricultural sales. The food exists. The access does not.
Produce Party is a free, recurring community experience that closes that gap — connecting residents of Charlotte's Historic West End directly with local and minority-owned farms through movement, sound, and ancestral practice.
What to expect:
Guests move through three simultaneous zones over 3 hours, in any order, at their own pace:
— Nigredo / The Ignition — Botanical beverages, and tonics, and a live sonic frequency arc by DJ Mina. This is where the body moves and stagnant energy gets composted.
— Albedo / The Stabilizer — Holistic small bites, energy readings, free hair cuts, and wardrobe sessions. The nervous system comes down. Clarity arrives.
— Rubedo / The Harvest — Seasonal produce from local farms, florals, and grounding space. Nourishment as homecoming.
This is food justice as cultural infrastructure. Every dollar stays in the ecosystem. Every farm is local. Every activation is intentional.
