Join Concordia’s Jurist-in-Residence, Morton S. Minc, as he hosts privacy lawyer Éloïse Gratton, Ad. E., partner in Osler’s Privacy and Data Management group.

, Ad. E., is a partner and co-chair of Osler’s national Privacy and Data Management practice. Recognized nationally as a pioneer in the field of privacy, she advises corporations and their boards on compliance, crisis and risk management, cyber incidents, ethics and data governance matters, including the evolving field of artificial intelligence. Gratton also represents clients in privacy regulatory investigations.
Ranked Band 1 by Chambers Canada in Privacy & Data Management, Gratton provides strategic support to Canadian and international clients. She has authored several books on privacy law that are used in law courses and cited in academic journals and landmark privacy decisions by the Supreme Court of Canada. Gratton is a member of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce’s Innovations & IP Committee and has testified before parliamentary committees on information, privacy and technology. She is also a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors and a board member of Canada Health Infoway.
Gratton was recently honoured by Canadian Lawyer magazine as a forward thinker and has twice been selected as one of the country’s 25 most influential lawyers. She has also been named one of Canada’s Top 100 Most Influential Women by the Women’s Executive Network in the CIBC Trailblazers & Trendsetters category.

For participating lawyers
Since Concordia University is an organization distinct from the Barreau du Québec, participating lawyers must declare their training hours in their personal file. A certificate of attendance confirming 1.5 hours of continuing education will be issued to lawyers who attend the conference.
