This course is for adults only
Across these three funded workshops by CoLab, we’ll explore three different printmaking techniques, using them to create colourful, expressive banners and sunshades for the CoLab Storytelling Garden.
Nature Monoprinting: Using leaves, foliage and other natural materials from the CoLab Storytelling Garden to create unique prints inspired by the space.
Letterpress Printing: Working with beautiful antique wooden type to print words, phrases and positive messages.
Screenprinting: Exploring bold colours, shapes and patterns to create eye-catching designs.
Bringing these techniques together, we’ll create a collection of printed textiles to help bring the Storytelling Garden to life. Along the way, everyone will also have the opportunity to make their own prints to take home.
