Princesses and Ponies Intro to Riding and Horsemanship

This is a class geared toward beginning horse enthusiasts. We use ponies for our instruction. This is a one day class that will focus on the age groups of 3-5 year olds, 6-8 year olds, and 9 and up. These sessions are dedicated to learning the basics of horsemanship. The children will get to ride, but most importantly, safety, grooming, and horse terminology will be introduced. A small snack will be provided. Parents are welcome to participate, especially with the younger group, but not required. A detailed schedule of the day will be sent out to the attendees prior to the event. There is a minimum number of participants needed to hold the class.
Class is held from October 4 10-12pm.
Registration closes when full. Cost is $125.
The Schedule
10-10:15 Meet the instructors and ponies
10:15-12 Safety, Horsemanship and Riding. Snack will occur while rotating riders and visit with princesses.
11:15-12- Meet and greet with Elsa and Ana with activities.
A small snack is provided and craft. If there are any allergies, please reach out through email. Please bring water!
A little about our instructors... Ms. Lipovsky is the owner of Hogback Mountain Pony Rides. She has been around horses her whole life. She has a masters degree in education. Ms. Lipovsky is first aid and cpr certified.
